Privacy policy

Who is responsible

The person or company named on our imprint page is responsible for the processing of your personal data on this site. You can reach us at the contact details given there.

What we collect and why

Enquiry form. When you send the form, we receive your name, email address, WhatsApp number (if you give one), nationality, the visa you are interested in and your message, together with the page you sent it from and the time. We use these details only to answer your enquiry.

Passing your enquiry on. With your consent (the checkbox on the form), we pass these details to our partner law firm in Phuket, Thailand, so it can contact you about your visa. The firm is responsible for how it handles your data from then on. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us; this does not affect anything done before.

Visa check. The four-question visa check runs in your browser. Your answers are not sent anywhere.

WhatsApp. If you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical data such as your IP address, the page requested and the time, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Cookies, analytics and fonts

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. They run only after you click Accept on the cookie bar. We use them to see which pages help visitors and whether an enquiry was sent. We do not use advertising trackers, and we never switch on Google's advertising signals.

Before you choose, or if you click Decline. Google tags may still send cookieless pings that carry no identifiers. This is how Google Consent Mode v2 works: the tags load, but with analytics storage switched off, so no analytics cookies are set on your device.

What is measured. Pages viewed, your rough location, your device and browser type, and whether an enquiry was sent and which visa it was about. Your name, email address, WhatsApp number and message are never passed to Google Analytics.

Change your choice. Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to open the cookie bar again.

Fonts. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party.

How long we keep your details

We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any referral that follows from it, and to meet legal record-keeping duties. Then we delete them.

International transfers

Your enquiry is passed to a law firm in Thailand. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country with data-transfer rules, this means your data leaves that area. We pass it on only with your consent.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and withdraw your consent. Depending on where you live, rules such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation or Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act give you these rights, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
